About Sems and Specials
The history of our company traces its roots to entrepreneur Bruce Hayes, who began the business in Loves Park, Illinois in 1990. The primary business started with concentration on high volume Sems products. Bruce soon added depth and diversity to the product line by offering an infinite variety of Sems combinations using different screws, washer types, head styles, drive styles, and materials,
In 1991, Bruce was joined by Jim Kelam who spearheaded sales while Bruce concentrated on manufacturing. To challenge competitors, the team locked in differences that have defined and driven success for more than 30 years.

At Sems and Specials we recognize that the disciplines of quality, health, safety and environmental management are an integral part of its function. We consider these attributes essential to good business practices and the adoption of appropriate Quality Standards.
With the understanding and dedication of management and staff, Sems and Specials has
